Before joining the firm, Marcus served as Executive in Residence at the Kelce College of Business at Pittsburg State University, where he shared his industry expertise and leadership experience with students and faculty. Prior to his time at Pittsburg State, he was President of Pitt Plastics, then a Bicknell family-owned company.

Marcus also spent 12 years at Waechtersbach USA, Inc., serving in various leadership capacities, including seven years as President. Earlier in his career, he worked at Ernst & Young, gaining valuable experience in professional services and financial advisory.

He holds both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree from Truman State University. Marcus is a member of the Leadership Kansas Class of 2017 and serves as a trustee of the Bicknell family holding company.

An active community leader, Marcus previously served on the Pittsburg, Kansas Economic Development Advisory Committee and held multiple leadership roles with the Pittsburg Chamber of Commerce, including Board Member, Chairman, and Treasurer. He also served as a board member of the Mount Carmel Foundation in Pittsburg.
